Many different products are created: Fashion fabrics, scarves, neckties, home furnishing fabrics – woven or printed. We also make carpets and home accessories using a variety of materials. Another field of work is leisure goods and items for automotive and boating applications.
Special design projects have been carried out using paper: e.g. disposable table cloths, wallpaper etc.

Marketing work integrated with design

Birgit Ullhammar Design Ltd. also carries out market research, trend surveys, promotional work at trade fairs etc. Marketing is closely related to the design work and introduction of new products. Market surveys provide useful information for the development of new successful products.

Birgit Ullhammar Design Collection

Birgit Ullhammar Design Collection is homefurnishing items with coordinated design. The Collection is manufactured under license by major firms in Japan and Italy. Success has been reached with renowned designers like Pierre Cardin and Yves St. Laurent. Numerous other international commissions are carried out with e.g. Baldini, Italy; Travancore Mats & Mattings, India, and Royal Thai Carpet Manufacturing, Thailand. Several design awards have been granted.
